We are working on behalf of a major luxury brand to find them a Leather Goods Design Intern!
This is an incredible opportunity to join the studio of one of the most exciting luxury brands in the world – trust us, it’ll look great on your CV! The successful candidate will be based in-house in Milan, working with the Senior Designer and Accessories Design Director across both ladies and men’s small leather goods and bags collections for the new season.
Type of candidate: This role would suit a recent accessories design BA or MA graduate, or someone who is studying on a BA course, and looking for a placement as part of their studies. The client has a directional, clean, modern aesthetic, and this look will ideally be reflected in your own personal design style and portfolio. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high taste level and understanding of the luxury market via portfolio work, and should have a basic technical understanding of leather goods design and construction.

Length of placement: 3-6 months

You should include mood boards/inspiration, design development (both flat sketches and photos of 3D development/process), and final design ideas. Work could be work in progress for university projects, final major projects, personal projects, and any work you have done on previous internships.
